Two ways to add a receipt.

Your assistant reads it

Share a photo in the chat. The assistant reads it and saves the purchase.

Finudy reads it

Ask for an upload link. Finudy’s own scanner reads the photos or PDF and keeps the original. You confirm the result in the chat.

The link works once, for 15 minutes. Why a link? Chat apps can’t pass files to a connected server.

Same rules as the app
Every tool makes one fixed call to the Finudy API with your sign-in. The same permissions, checks and limits apply.
No guessing
The connection itself never reads receipts, invents values or converts currencies.
No double saves
If a save is retried, it never creates a second purchase or expense.
You agree first
Deleting something, or emailing a business report, only happens after you say yes in the chat.
Limited by design
An AI connection can’t delete your account, export all your data or sign out your other devices.
Your AI provider sees what it reads
Anything your assistant reads from Finudy is processed by your AI provider under its own terms.

Some things stay in the app.

Creating families or businesses, invitations and roles, voice input and the camera stay in Finudy itself.

Technical details

Transport: Streamable HTTP with JSON responses. No sessions, no event stream.
Sign-in: OAuth authorization code with PKCE (S256) and dynamic client registration.
Tokens: Access tokens last 15 minutes. Refresh tokens rotate on every use.
Discovery: /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server
Language: The sign-in and upload pages follow your browser’s language.
